So, they simply send out an "email blast" to 100's of thousands of people, and the law of averages returns to them a certain number of sales, which are often in the 10's of thousands of dollars. Nice, right? Yes. But, not nice that they are omitting this fact from their offer (and apparent promise). In other words, the average person could not accomplish the same, because they simply do not have that many email ids collected, or for the beginner, perhaps none at all.
